Tisha Richardson talk about the death of his youngest son, Dayshen McKenzie, 17, who died of an asthma attack after being chased by a group of teenagers in Staten Island. Diane Fatigati, a retired New York Police Department officer and Staten Island resident, saw McKenzie being chased and attempted to rescue him. McKenzie died shortly after, however. Fatigati said she heard McKenzie's chasers saying they had a gun, while yelling racial slurs at the teen. Despite her account, the Police Department refused to investigate McKenzie's death as a hate crime.
