Garrett Robinson, an Alabama native, tells the story of his life. Robinson is a writer who self-published six books, which he sells directly to the public in front of the New York Public Library in Midtown Manhattan. Robinson has been in and out the city's shelter's system for several years. A provision in the State of New York Constitution obligates the city of New York to provide shelter to homeless people. Despite the hardship, Robinson never felt deterred to pursue his life as a writer and a performer
